Terms and conditions
Last updated: 26/10/2026
These terms govern the use of carsLOG, software for car dealers provided over the internet (SaaS).
1. Introductory provisions
carsLOG is provided by [operator’s company name, registered office, company ID, register entry — to be completed by a lawyer] (the “provider”).
The service is intended for businesses. The contract is governed by these terms and by Slovak Act No. 513/1991 Coll., the Commercial Code. For customers registered in the Czech Republic, Czech Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, applies unless the parties agree otherwise.
2. Registration and user account
The contract is concluded when an organisation registers and accepts these terms. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of its details and for deciding who in the organisation gets access and with which permissions.
The customer must keep login details secure and notify the provider without undue delay of any suspected misuse of the account.
3. Free trial
A new organisation may use the service free of charge for 14 days without entering a payment card. If the customer does not choose a paid plan when the trial ends, the account is suspended; nothing is charged automatically.
4. Plans, prices and payment
Current plans, their features and limits are listed on the pricing page. Prices are monthly and exclude VAT, which is added in accordance with applicable law. The provider charges no set-up fee.
Subscriptions are paid monthly in advance. SMS and generation credits beyond the plan are charged by actual use. The provider will announce any price change at least 30 days in advance; the customer may terminate the contract before it takes effect.
5. Customer rights and obligations
The customer must use the service lawfully, in particular:
- publish only accurate information about vehicles and prices,
- have a legal basis for processing its own customers’ personal data,
- review texts and documents generated automatically (such as draft adverts) before using them,
- not interfere with the security of the service or circumvent its technical limits.
6. Availability and support
The provider makes reasonable efforts to keep the service available at all times. Planned maintenance is announced in advance in the app. Support is available by email on working days.
7. Data protection and processing on the customer’s behalf
For the personal data of the dealer’s own customers, the customer is the controller and the provider is the processor under Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Processing is governed by the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms.
8. Liability
The provider is not liable for content entered by the customer or for decisions based on indicative outputs such as the price radar or automatically generated drafts. The provider’s total liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months, unless the law provides otherwise.
9. Termination and data export
The customer may end the subscription at any time with effect from the end of the paid period and may export its data beforehand. After termination the provider deletes the data within the period set out in the data processing agreement, unless the law requires it to be retained.
10. Final provisions
The provider may amend these terms and will announce changes by email and in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. The parties will seek to settle disputes amicably, failing which the competent court at the provider’s registered office has jurisdiction.
